My journey into the world of Permanent Makeup started in 2022 when I began working at The Copper Fox Studio as a studio and booking assistant. Once I was offered a station at the studio, I began my apprenticeship with Alexx, alongside my other mentor, Vivian from Vivid Beauty Academy. Since then, I've been practicing the skill of microblading daily in preparation for offering my services to clients. I'm happy to say my apprenticeship was completed in April of 2024!

FAQ
What is Microblading?
Microblading is a technique of semi-permanent makeup for eyebrows. It helps provide the illusion of a full natural looking eyebrow for people with little to no hair. Process is done with a manual tool that deposits ink into the top layer of the skin. Microblading mimics fine eyebrow hairs with a hairlike stroke method and pattern.

How long does it take to heal?
It takes roughly 7-14 days for the brows to heal over. Roughly 1 month for the pigment to fully set in.

Does it hurt?
I use a topical numbing prior to the blading process and a secondary numbing midway through. Some people even fall asleep during the process!

When do I get a touch up?
If it is performed properly, microblading should last anywhere between 18 and 24 months. Once pigment from the procedure begins to noticeably fade, you’ll need to come back for a “touch-up” appointment. Touch-ups can be necessary every six months or every year, depending on your skin type and preferred look.
